Cortney Kinney Biography

      I have been taking pictures for most of my life.  My very first printed pictures started in middle school.  The resulting snap shots were my friends with their heads cut off. My dad just laughed. He taught me I had to hold the camera still for a second and not move. I still have many of those pictures.  I now see some good ones and some horrible ones. 10 years later, I received my first digital SLR from my husband. It was a Nikon D70, which was one of the better cameras at the time. Since then my photo taking has increased. I have taken classes on how to use it.  I have also taken classes on how to work Photoshop and Lightroom.  I continue to improve everyday with taking pictures properly and editing them to be perfect.  I have been taking pictures since 1996 and I have been professionally taking photographs since 2007.
